Qatar Football Association Launches its New Internet Portal

Qatar Football Association (QFA),
has launched its new Internet Web Portal yesterday. The portal, developed by the Qatari company iHorizons under the supervision and support of QFA team, provides a comprehensive and interactive source of information for the football sports fans in the Arab world, the world and the general public. The site is available at www.qfa.com.qa.

 

The official launch of the portal was held in the Diplomatic Club in Doha, and the new website presents QFA’s vision, and all the information related to the game, the teams and the Qatari Football Clubs.

 

Site visitors from all over the world will be able to watch football competitions in details through an easy to use Graphic User Interface in one of the most advanced section on the website titled “Match Casting”, through this section the visitors can access the competitions archive to watch previous competitions including online statistics about the clubs and players at any point of time.

 

Shortly, the new portal will enable site visitors to interact and contribute to get competitions results through SMS service or through their emails. The portal will announce weekly and monthly online quizzes, newsletter and other interactive services.

 

Mr. Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Muhanadi, General Secretary at QFA, said: “QFA new portal is a key to sharing the QFA message around the world. And with useful features and continuous updates and new content, we would like our sport fans to be always connected, engaged and informed.”
